16 oz can from Hops & Bottles. Hazy, milky yellow pour with thick fluffy head. After a truly beautiful pour, the rest is rather mundane. Light citrusy aroma is followed by more citrus flavors, with grapefruit peel prominent. This also gives it very light bitterness.

This is a fantastic beer. Super easy-drinking for an IPA. The addition of viognier grapes gives it really mellow fruity notes and a very light mouthfeel.

L: The pour was absolutely gorgeous. The body is a very pale yellow (it almost seems to have a light green hue) translucent enough to reveal the bubble streams, but too opaque to see any more than blurry shadows through it. The pour produced copious amounts of fine white head, leaving thick white arcs of lacing to decorate the glass.

S: Faint zesty lemon and quince preface the subtle sweetness of pear and honeydew. A bitter pomelo note pokes its nose in, lingering to the finish along with the more present white grape, green apple, and lemon notes.

T: As expected from the aroma, this hazy IPA contains none of the bold tropical hop flavors that typically hold a beer of this style together. Instead, we get a very mellow sweetness, an even more subtle tart bite, and a mellow floral finish with notes of cut grass and honeysuckle.

F: Plus the texture is so light and airy, you'll think you're drinking a weissbier.

O: This is liquid art, without a doubt. Very impressed with this brewery, although this is only the second beer I've had from them. It's a damn shame this is part of a series and will not be available much longer, but I'm excited to try the next one. Prost!

man, i thought this was really good. i had no idea these guys were making beer this good, i guess i never knew anything about the brand, but i always saw it like in gas stations, not in craft spots, but i was definitely wrong if this one is any indication of what they are all about! such a good hazy ipa here, one of the better ones i have had of late really, and i have been drinking them like crazy because they seem impossible to avoid anymore. i love the really pale ones like this, straw colored, only lightly hazy from the tap and with no visible sediment, a real high rising airy white head, and a softness about it, pretty beer, not sloppy or unrefined looking at all. aroma here is awesome, a citra type hop profile, not overdone and green and harsh, and it doesnt taste like pellets either like the big dry hopped ones sometimes do. there is a very distinct fresh lemon thing happening here, and a lightly starchy, earthy grain base well behind the hops, seems delicate, and its abv surprises me. so much lemon in the flavor, like real lemon without the acidity, i almost thought this had to be fruited on the first couple sips, striking fruitiness. subtle melon and green apple behind the lemon, tangerine too, maybe a mix of different new wave hops here, id love to know more about it. great feel too, awesome carbonation, really light texture to it, soft and mellow, surprised how relaxed it is, not bitter or harsh at all in the hop profile, and even refreshing. this was awesome, and ill be on the lookout for more beers from these guys after this. super impressive!

Poured from can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a hazy yellow amber color with a small fizzy white head. The head has a decent level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a light level of streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell - The aroma of the brew is strongest of a a grainy and malty smell mixed with some light tropical fruits and citrus. Along with these aromas comes a little bit of hay and a touch of grass.
Taste – The taste begins with a moderate bready taste that has a good showing of a grapefruit hop straight out the gate. There are some lighter fruit tastes of peach and white grape upfront, which with the bready tastes, create a base flavor for the brew. As the taste advances, the citrus grapefruit hop gets slightly stronger in nature and is joined by some lighter hop tastes of an herbal, earth, and grassy nature. In the end, a hint more sweetness of an apricot taste joins in, and with the rest of the tastes, it leaves one with a citrusy, but lightly dank and thick taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is slightly thicker and chewier with a carbonation level that is average. For the moderate bready tastes the thicker body is great all while the average carbonation level keeps the fruitier flavors more pronounced. Overall, it is approachable but still slow drinking at the same time.
Overall – A rather decent NEIPA. It’s got a good level of flavor and a nice hop blend that is balanced by a medium malt and fruit body.

No dating on the can.

Pours a hazy pale yellow, almost the colour of lemonade. Good long lasting head of foam.

The smell has grapefruit and a good dankness..pretty much sums it up.

Same goes for the taste. No grapes perceived by my palate. Solid offering enough as it is. Maybe I detect some of the grape in the finish? I'm not sure aboot that.

Excellent mouthfeel

Solid example of the style, I reckon.
