. it’s got some real heat to it for a reg old dub of 8%. Hazy look. Thick feel. Kinda sweet. Def a nice malt presence. Prefer that over the hop character. wouldnt have it again Not bad per se, just pedestrian.

16oz can from Boise Coop. Golden pour with light haze, skin of head. Floral aroma, lemon, hops. Taste is tangy, zesty, sweetness, elements of citrus. Light on the palate.

a stronger one, willie nelson on the can, makes sense, this is a triumph, a gem of a pint can shared by my brother in law, perhaps begrudgingly, think he was trying to take a night off, not sure he had multiples, said i had to have it, he acquiesced, please god if i wronged him let me eventually make it right, but, this slayed, and brought a lot of life to an otherwise mellow saturday evening, sometimes you make trade offs based on value judgments when every single stakeholder has different values, but thats beer isnt it?! alas i drink hazy strong dry hoppy beer as a solo mission. the can says curse word covid, so thats cool too, timely obviously. anyway, the hop profile here is juicy mango and peach, something unique and ancient, like coconut flakes or grilled pineapple elements, this is almost hawaiian, but then juices off into like a tangerine and clementine corner for awhile. dry to close, wheaty and simple on the grain side, something from the yeast but its totally unforced, this makes sense in ever way, and its ends up being one of those strong hoppy ones i could bang on until im cross eyed. so many of these from roadhouse have fruit without saying they do, which i think is lame, like just tell me on the label whats in the beer, but not sure about this one. its yummy whatever happens to be in it. special thanks to those involved, you know who you are...

Canned December 21st 2020.

Pours a hazy orange yellow with heaps of foam, good lacing.

Sure does smell dry hopped, double even. Some dankness, citrus, pine, toasted malt is a tough one to pull out but I get it.

Taste is decidedly bitter and dank for the style. Tropical fruit, pine, some grapefruit citrus, rather dank finish. Alcohol is up there and I feel it.

Good mouthfeel.

I had the previous Volumes so I had to give this a go. Not my favourite of the series.
