Collaboration with Maui Brewing Company
It all started with a handshake and then the universe conspired. Thousands of miles apart, but members of the same tribe. Each righteously independent but servants of one movement determined to make great beer with great people. Joined by fate and a common spirit, from us to you and you to the world: walk upright, practice aloha, be Pono.

On tap. White head with lace. Vibrant hazy sunset orange juice color.
Juicy, tropical, fruity. The passionfruit shows but doesn’t dominate. Mango, orange, and papaya. Has an earthy hop twang to it. Solid.

Idk who's really more responsible in creating this collaboration but to me it's completely and utterly disappointing. I don't even taste hops let alone passionfruit. Really bad first impression unfortunately for Roadhouse for me. Maui...I liked the coconut porter decent enough so I'll leave it at that but haven't had anything besides that and now this. try for yourself though I mean don't listen to me.
I've had a few other beers since to make sure my pallet wasn't shot and I could taste those so idk.

Canned on 07/27/20 poured into a pint glass. (Can looks pretty cool btw, I'll try to get a picture up) The color is a Hazy straw yellow with a half inch head of fluffy, white foam that lingers for a good amount of time and leaves a bit of lacing as you suck it down. Hints of peach, mango, and passion fruit are present on the nose. The taste is where this beer kind of loses me though. I dont really get any of the fruit from the nose in the flavor of the beer. The hop flavor is a little underwhelming for an IPA as well and it goes away quickly after each sip. If you're getting into IPAs or if you're a fan of low IBU IPAs, you'd probably enjoy this but for me there just isnt enough there. The Mouth feel is a little thin for a hazy but it isn't a deal breaker. Overall I'd say its a below average IPA. Like I said this would be a decent beginner IPA, its not overly bitter, and it drinks more like a lighter lager.
