Draft at Hops & Bottles. Bright orange/ golden, fine creamy white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, piney, hoppy. Taste brings more tropical notes, mango, pineapple, earthy and a smidge of dank.

i think this is even stronger in alcohol now than it is listed here, a total beast of an ipa, but also very dangerous, as it doesnt have all that much body, the alcohol isnt crazy exposed or anything, the hops dont burn at all, and its interesting enough in terms of hop profile to be kind of addicting, this one can really sneak up on you! between golden and pale orange in color, pretty good clarity and carbonation, and a highly appealing aroma thats at first sweet like honey, then juicy like melon and tangerine, then piney and woodsy at the end, a nice movement and flow to it, good grain support without a ton of weight, nothing caramelized or baked here at all, its lighter than that. i get some dried mango and dried apricot to the hops in the middle, floral honey again, more orangey citrus, a decent stickiness to it all through most of the drink. nothing really from the yeast in the flavor, some warming alcohol as it sits but its never hot, and overall a fresh and delicious and distinctive imperial ipa here. roadhouse does just about everything well i am learning, and they have some super fun strong ales. this is way ahead of the curve, great hop profile, dangerously drinkable for what it is. nicely done.
