$ 5.19/16 oz draft ($ 0.324/oz) at brewery, served in nonic
Aroma – initially of chocolate, dies almost immediately
Head – chopped by bartender, < two cm, off white, creamy, diminishes but lasts without being reduced to a ring and layer (or maybe I was just too thirsty to wait)
Lacing – excellent – complete rings of medium width and tiny bubbles
Body – dark amber, clear
Flavor – starts a little sweet with little discernible flavor, ends malty
Palate – light to medium, creamy, soft carbonation
Flavor was lacking – not offensive, just not any until the aftertaste of malt. An otherwise well-constructed beer. One and done.
