Taste: Complex, toasted coconut, cocoa nibs, dark chocolate malts, sweet, dry finish. Same with the nose. Dark brown, mostly clear, tan delicate head and lace.. medium/full body. good dessert beer. 21 IBUs

Nice aromatuc beer with a nice coconut taste and a good malty finish. Pleasantly surprised by it as im not a big porter fan.

 

 

Very nice chocolate/coconut flavor. Thick and tasty porter one of my favorites from Petoskey.

Bitter dark beer taste with chocolate coconut. Sharp carbonated feel, makes it hard to drink wish it was smoother

 

 

 

 

Pours dark brown. Foamy, thick, short, brown head that Fades slowly.

Smells chocolate, roasted coconut, roasted malt and a hint of vanilla.

Taste roasted malt, chocolate and lots of roasted coconut. Followed by earthy and dark chocolate bitterness. Finishes dry with a roasted linger. Medium body and smooth medium carbonation.

This beer has a dark brown color, little head or lacing on my pour. Smell is chocolate and coconut, with chocolate actually more dominant to me.
Taste is the other way around. The coconut isn't as bad as the suntan lotion flavor I've had before, but not as good as the toasted coconut flavor in crankers coconut porter. Not as much chocolate in the flavor.
The feel is thin and carbonation isnt too much/little. What you'd expect from this kind of beer.
Overall not a bad beer. It scratched an itch I had for a low abv dark beer. I don't know if I'd buy again, but I don't regret giving it a try. Petoskey brewing puts out some solid beers.

This is a very tasty stout. The chocolate and coconut flavors really come through. I like the hint of cola on the finish. The body is a bit thin but overall good brew.
