Heavyset body, stings the tooth, velvety for an IPA, dessert beer for those without the ability to taste sweet (feels like a heavy cake without sugar), SO alcoholic.

On-tap at the brewery
A: Body is a dark red-mahogany color, topped by a fair measure of lighter khaki head. Lacing is evident from the first few sips.
S: Citrusy and fruity aroma. A sweetness can also be distinguished in the background. Some piney qualities can be found also.
T: This is tasty. Juicy fruit notes go along with a grapefruit citrus profile. Piney flavors follow with some bitterness which helps balance the sweet bready malt profile. Aftertaste is piney and slightly bitter. Not as bitter as I was expecting given the IBU and description, but this is very well balanced and delicious. Alcohol is almost nonexistent.
M: Nice soft body that is nicely carbonated despite the ABV. Finish is drying and pleasant. Warming alcohol doesn't even show itself until the beer has spent a good while in the glass.
O: What a beer. If Petoskey starts putting beers like this into their cans they will get some serious Michigan notoriety.
