Poured from the 32 oz growler purchased at the Helm's tasting room in Ocean Beach. Clear golden yellow with a fine pile of suds in the tall lager glass. Sprightly on the tongue. Pleasant aroma of wheat and cheerios. There is just a bitterish touch to balance the mellow and somehow malty tasting beer.
Pleasingly mouth-filling with a surprisingly substantial body. A resiny hop note. A sensational lower-ABV brew with a surprising amount of flavor. You could quibble with the spelling, but this is the good ol' USA so who cares!
