From the pint can, it pours a deep brown with a modest light brown head. Scent is coconut with chocolate and some alcohol - not completely pleasant. Thin mouthfeel with taste that follows nose with a modest lightly bitter tart aftertaste.

Dark chocolate colored brown with a camel colored thick head. Not as sweet or creamy as I expected, but drinks smooth with hints of cocoa and coffee beans. At 6.5% it definitely drinks lighter, but overall a good pour.

On draft, poured in a shaker pint glass
Appears jet black, tan colored head that fades. Aroma is nice mix of coffee roast and a bit of vanilla sweetness. Similar flavor, on the sweeter side. Medium bodied.

From a can, pours as an opaque brown with a thin khaki head. Aromas of milk chocolate, coffee, lactose, and slight vanilla. Taste again is principally vanilla with sweet roasted malts. Other reviewers proclaim "chocolate" and "coffee" notes. I can persuade myself that there is a hint of coffee, but there is zero chocolate, zilch, nada. Body is an odd/disappointing blend of both creamy and watery.

The greatest breakfast beer there is. Don't listen to naysayers that drink milk stout after noon. This is a 1st thing, get the monkey off your back, breakfast beer. And there is none better.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Capital Ale House - Midlothian, poured into a pint glass. Had a dark brown / black color and an opaque consistency. There was a thin, tan-colored, foamy head that quickly dissipated. Below average lacing.
S: A very nice aroma of chocolate, malt, vanilla, cream, and some coffee.
T: Tasted of a mild shot of roasted malt, lots of vanilla, a tinge of coffee (not quite that much), a good shot of chocolate (very nice), some cream, and a tinge of hops as well. You gotta give it to COTU - they really did make a beer that tastes like a white russian (combined with a beer). Quite tasty in an understated way.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a creamy, smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This is one of the more oddly enjoyable beers I've tried recently. Definitely worth a try.

I'm trying this at Hells Kitchen in Norfolk, Virginia. It a nearly opaque dark....could see slight light with dark ruby hue. There was a ercu head ring but no lace. The scent has brown sugar hints. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink....maple syrup flare. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a good milk stout.

Appearance: Pours out fudge brown with a thin mocha head that quickly fades to a ringlet; splotchy lacing
Smell: Milk chocolate and vanilla
Taste: Milk chocolate and vanilla forward, with a bit of roast developing, through the middle; the sweeter tones return for the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with low to moderate carbonation
Overall: This is a beer that cries out for a bigger mouthfeel; otherwise, not bad, and has held up pretty well for a 2014 bottling of a milk stout
Thanks, jonnyybp, for the opportunity
