From the can, it pours a clear amber with virtually no head, but a strong pleasant scent of grapes/raisins, some malt and alcohol. Wife commented "nice" when she sniffed it for me. Winey flavor, not unpleasant, with a definite alcohol flavor. Interesting - stored in grape brandy barrels to age/flavor.
