Pretty good Pumpkin Beer. Pumpkin spices are a bit overdone, but the rest of the beer is solid. Poured from a 16 oz. can into a pint glass, this beer features an almost clear orange/amber color which is quite nice!!! The cream-colored head is medium sized and foamy with better than average retention and there are thin bands of lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste include plenty of pumpkin and (somewhat overdone) pumpkin spicing, mostly nutmeg and cinnamon. This is built on a backbone of amber ale that provides richness and lots of caramel malt. Overall good aroma and flavor. Mouthfeel is rich and smooth, with slightly too much pumpkin spices. One of the better Pumpkin Beers out there!
