A tasty Porter!!! Poured from a 16 oz. can into a pint glass, this beer features a black color with a very little reddish light coming through. The head is frothy with a brown color. Good retention and lacing. Aroma and taste includes some moderately sweet malt, lots of coffee and some vanilla. I detected a touch of cocoa here as well. Mouthfeel was rich and smooth, no noticeable bitterness. I had it with a dinner of buttermilk pancakes and bacon and it went down easy.
