I'm trying this at the brewery. It poured a nearly opaque black with off white head. The scent had hints of anise. The taste followed the scent with toffee and dark chocolate.....probably a better beer for winter as opposed to summer. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a nice stout.
