I'm not sure if this is truly a Stout, but whatever it is, it's delicious.
Comes in a blue .33 liter Euro style bottle with tin foil around the top. Labeled as a stout, but tastes like a doublebock using some form of roasted barley.
Poors a dark reddish brown with a creamy brown and white head. Head dissapeared quickly leaving almost no lacing (although there were traces of water on the glass, which may have caused this.)
Smell is of sweet roasted malts and coffee.
Taste hits the mouth in waves. The first comes in sweet and malty. Almost immediatly the taste of fine coffee and bittersweet chocolate hit the tounge, complementing the malty sweetness. A bit of hops and sublte orange flavors round out this fantastic taste. Goes down with a small bite from the high Alchohal and a sweet taste is left in the mouth.
Moth feels pleasantly spicy from the carbonation at the start. The biggest problem is at the end when it leaves a sweet sugary feeling to the mouth. Not a big problem, but probably the beers weakest element.
I could quite a few of these, but I know I shouldn't considering how buzzed I am off one. Simply a great beer. If your in prague make sure to get one from Pivni Galerie in Prague.

Holy Crap! Found this beer at Pivni Galerie in Prague. The Czechs are famous for their light lagers, so I wasn't expecting much from this stout. It only caught my eye because it was NOT a lager! Comes in a .33 liter brown bottle with a purple label and silver foil wrapping around the top. Pours a magnificent black, with good but not great yellow head. Smell is deep, with burnt chocolate, wheat, and alcohol fragrances. Taste is outstanding! Bold, chocolate bittersweet flavor, malty and hoppy, but never too sweet like some dark lagers. Tingles the tongue and the lingering aftertaste is pleasing. An outstanding brew! Of all the brews I've tried, most similar to Guinness Foreign Extra Stout. Wish I could have this all the time.
