Praga Hefeweizen (Prague Beer Unfiltered) is a rich caramel-colored beer with a classic sweetish malt flavor and a minimum of bitterness. Delicate aroma of hops and subtle aftertaste. Thick, natural brown foam. Serve the beer slightly chilled.

Copenhagen 14/12 2017. 50cl bottle from Kvickly. Something that could look like the silhouette of the Karls Bridge in Prague on a good day on the label. Makes quite a fuss about being "Authentic Czech". Kind of funny when you are drinking a style hailing from Germany.
Pours slightly hazy yellow with big bubbly white head. Settles as a lonely looking small round patch of pathetic foam. No lacing.
Aroma is sweet and tart at the same time. Sweet banana, lemonade with a touch of citrus.
Strong carbonation and watery palate.
Flavor is quite thin and watery. Medium sweet followed by light sourness. Aftertaste is short and sweetish.
Quite generic wheat beer which smells better than it tastes. And it does not smell that fantastic.

Very smooth head and appearance, aroma of spicy bananas.
I'm not a fan of wheat beers in general, they always remind me of bananas. This one also does, it reminds me of very sweet bananas.
I actually quite like the taste, but it's a bit sweet and definitely kind of heavy, as a result of the wheat. I actually prefer this to many of the more famous German weissbiers.
I wouldn't buy this again, though it's certainly a great effort, and is growing on me, the more of it that I drink.
