12 oz. bottle, no bottled on date present. A new seasonal to me from Church Street Brewing Company, crafted & bottled in nearby Itasca, Illinois. Acquired a single bottle from the local bottle shop. Label lists a 6.80% abv.

Poured into a Duvel tulip snifter.

A - Pours a deep golden orange, less than a finger of frothy white head that hangs on for a while, leaving good big fluffy scattered lacing. Appears aptly carbonated. Looks good.

S - Interesting aroma: a full on malt assault with Vienna malt, notes of brown bread, lager yeast, and some dirty herbal earthiness. A bit of a musty, lightly spicy aroma comes through.

T - Flavor is big, sweet, bready, & malty. The Vienna malt shows through here. Sweet, honey, bready, malty. Simple, but flavorful and to the point.

M - Feel is smooth, crisp, & creamy. Medium-bodied with good carbonation. Easy drinking stuff.

Overall, a decent maibock offering from Church Street.
