This dark old English style of beer was enjoyed by working class people who did a lot of heavy lifting and moving back in the day of horse and buggy. These hard working people needed something they could drink during the day and still keep working. This is my take on that style to help you get through the rest of your day.

Day 7 of the 2021 Advent Calendar. Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours pitch black with a light brown head. Smells of chocolate and slight coffee. Tastes of dark malt, chocolate, and coffee. Beer is medium to full bodied yet easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.
