Had on tap. Charcoal black opaque body, two fingers of brown foam. Smell shows off the malt complexity with plenty of roasted, earthy and dark chocolate aromas. Taste adds hints of char and raisin, malts are tantalizing with how much is going on at the base here that it becomes the star. Feel is roasty and malty, but not the largest body in the world, smooth and warming. They doo russian imperial stouts well consistently so add this to that legacy
