We got together with our neighbors and friends at Pollyanna Brewing Co. to bring you this Black Lager!
A blend of pilsner, munich and black malt formed a traditional base for this style while an additional of chocolate rye intensified the roast character throughout the glass. Fermented with our house lager strain to keep this beer light-bodied, crisp and perfectly balanced!

16oz nitro draft pour is a lightless, black body that barely shows a cola color at the very edge with backlight and boast the classic 1+" nitro head of cream colored tight bubbles that falls to a persistent 1/4" cap with leopard spotted lacing.
Aroma, though muted is dark roast malt, more cocoa than coffee, and leads freely into the flavor.
Mouthfeel is clean, creamy, smooth, and lighter than medium, clearing the palate cleanly.
Overall very happy to taste another local schwarzbier.
