Had on tap. The smell is boozy and more boozy. Too much booze. The feel was heavy for a dubbel, but I believe that was from the pronounced boozy barrel. The taste was actually good, if you like rum. But have to be in the mood for it, but if you are for basically a strong ale dubbel hybrid, this one is for you. Keep you warm on a winter night

Draft sample at the brewery. Aged in an Appletons rum barrel.
Golden orange with plenty of carbonation, looks more like a Tripel than Dubbel, but that's what they wrote on the bottles.
Fairly boozy aroma, fruit esters, light fusel. Taste is strong and boozy, light rum spice, it's pretty astringent.
Really strong without much nuance, not something I really enjoyed.
