Small batch series, brewery only bottling.
Described as a Flanders brown ale blended with cider, aged in a wine barrel for one year.
Bright orangey brown, sharp clarity and visible carbonation, khaki foam with good coverage and spotty lace.
Lightly fruity aroma with a nice barrel presence in the background, woody and slighty funky Brett.
Taste is tart and cidery with a mild oaky tannin that lingers into the dry aftertaste. Light to medium bodied, light carbonation, somewhat crisp. Could use a little more body. Overall this was good and worth a try.
