750 ml bottle into a tulip glass. Had 8/10/18.

Pours a cloudy lemon yellow, with just a quick flash of a head and some flecks of cling. Looks nothing like a saison. Aromas of gin, lime, some Belgian yeast, oak, juniper. Flavors of lime, juniper, some gin, light malt, oak. Smooth, a fair light to medium body, not much carbonation- again, on a saison?

While it’s unrecognizable as a saison, as a beer, it’s pretty good- although it’s fairly straightforward. The lime is the star, the gin is prominent and it’s a fun one to drink. Maybe this bottle wasn’t sealed well. Could swear I had this at a fest the week before and it was appropriately carbonated.
