In collaboration with Fischman Liquors. Brewed with American pale & specially roasted malts, this Belgian Style Quad is reminiscent of the Trappist Ales of Belgium. Additional fruit notes are achieved through an 8 month aging process in Brandy Barrels.

22 ounce bottle into a goblet. Late 2018 release, had 9/7/19.

Pours a coppery amber color, mostly clear, with a short head and light foamy lacing. Aromas of caramel, plums, malt, grapes, brandy, some dates. The flavors are a little more expansive- brandy- more as warms, caramel, plums, malt, grapes, candi sugar, some figs, light dates. Light alcohol warming that builds as it warms. Smooth, a good body but thinner than typical for the style, well carbonated.

This gets fairly boozy when warm, but a great lighter style quad. Excellent barrels. This was really enjoyable.
