This 16.9 oz. bottle has been mouldering in my fridge for…weeks? Months? Years? I dunno how long or where it came from. Not unhappy to find it slinking amongst the old IPAs.
The pour is darker than the 2021 Twins playoff hops – basically corpse-black – with a nose that speaks to the beer’s name: chili & chocolate.
Chocolate & Chili - Barrel Aged actually has ‘chillies’ on the label. Alternate speling? Britissh spelling? I dun’t know. The chili addition is aggressive & Out Front (thanks Erin Burnett, we love you) backed by chocolate. That’s it.
A simple one organism creature. Chocolate, chili, end. No barrel. Still good.
