Brownish tan pour, loose and fizzy tan foam, fades after a minute. To be expected from the double digit ABV maybe.
Aroma is intense and fantastic, coffee and maple syrup are present in spades, under a fairly potent whiff of bourbon.
Espresso, bourbon, oak, vanilla, maple, bakers chocolate, fudge, caramelized sugars lend some sweetness to balance the bitter coffee and chocolate. Very tasty and doesn’t hide the ABV. Body is fairly chewy though it could be a little creamier with less burn. Pretty intense stuff.
