Black with a billowing head of ample foam, for a change. Aromas of charred malt, dark fruit, slight barrel heat. Dark chocolate fudge, dark chocolate raisinets, bittersweet with a whiskey bite, creamy and full bodied. Somewhat drier and less chocolate syrupy than most of the other BA stouts from Lake Effect. Decently well hidden ABV. Overall i’m enjoying this one quite a bit.
