This Winter White Ale is brewed with a blend of Pilsen malt, white wheat, oats and flaked wheat. Combined, these grains work to create a soft mouthfeel and a mild richness surprising for such a light ale. The beer is infused with a variety of botanicals used in fernet which give this beer a winter holiday effect.

Witbier with Fernet-Branca spices. Mildly tart and fruity, herbal undercurrent with a hint of dry bittersweetness. Pleasant and drinkable. Makes me wish it was Spring already. Cheers to Lake Effect, and their new Avondale taproom opening in 2023.
