A: crystal clear; medium gold in color; 1+ finger finely pored ivory head that receded to a skim cap; very nice lacing;
S: lemon, clove, and black pepper with hints of floral and banana;
T: a blend of lemon, clove, black pepper, and floral from start to finish; moderate bitterness at the end;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish; hides the ABV very well;
O: really nice, but would have benefited from more carbonation;

On-tap 1/14/2017 at Natty Greeneās Tavern in North Attleboro, MA, served in a tulip glass.
A: The beer is a light cloudy gold color, with a short white head that fades slowly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains Belgian yeast, bananas, caramelized malts, some other fruits and a touch of hops.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of bananas, citrus and caramel. Then some breadiness comes in from Belgian yeast and a hearty malt character. There is also some spice and alcohol in the background. The hops presence is mild but complementary and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and very smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, good representation of style, this is a solid beer to drink for a while.
