32oz growler purchased from Beer'd hours ago. Pours a hazy burnt yellow color with a half inch of head. Lots of lacing. The aroma has that funky saison aroma with some pepper and spices but also has some tropical fruit and citrus hops. The taste is the tropical fruits upfront followed up by the funk from the saison yeast. Pepper notes with some citrus hops and funk at the finish. Mouthfeel is a bit heavy with a good deal of carbonation. Slightly dry. This one is billed as a "Farmhouse Double IPA" and it straddles the line well of not being too much of either style, but rather a solid blend. Very refreshing and drinkable. Overall, an interesting take on the Farmhouse style that I dig.
