32oz growler. Pours a black color with dark brown hues and a half inch of creamy head. Moderate amount of lacing. The aroma is roasted malts, pine, chocolate and maybe a hint of vanilla. The taste is the piney hops upfront with some nice roasty notes. Nutty with a bit of coffee. Finishes with more of the pine. Pretty nutty and earthy, especially as it warms. Almost tastes like a piney Brown Ale. Light bodied and easy to drink. Minimal alcohol presence. This is a good summery Black IPA. Overall, I'd grab it again.
