32oz. howler purchased on 3/26/16 and served in my Beer'd teku. Pours a lovely golden-orange hue with a translucent clarity and a rocky, one-inch, bright white head. Nose expresses citrus, spice and rind. Taste follows nose; however, there's also a slight candied quality at the back. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body (but closer to light) with a slightly watery consistency and mild, even carbonation. Overall, another solid DIPA from from Beer'd (love these guys) - abv is extremely well-hidden; however the mouthfeel is a bit too thin. More body would move this beer from solid to stellar in my opinion.

32oz growler from Beer'd. Pours a yellowish golden color with a half inch of head. Lots of lacing. The aroma is some what spicy with tropical fruits, namely pineapple. The taste is lots of pineapple and mango upfront followed by some spicy hops. Hints of mint even. Lightly toasted malt notes. Noticeable alcohol presence, as expected. Finishes with more pineapple and a nice alcohol burn. Tastes more dank as it warms. Dry mouthfeel with a moderate amount of carbonation. Juicy. Overall, another great Imperial IPA from Beer'd worth seeking out.

Perfectly snow-white head, ~1 finger, atop a slightly hazy, translucent orange-and-yellow brew. Retention is good, and long lines of lacing are left on the glass.

Huge tropical fruit aroma, with some slightly sweet, bubblegum yeast character. Mango and pineapple hops; no discernible malts.

Bubblegum flavor up front, quickly overwhelmed by fruity hops (but lingering throughout the sip). Tons of tropical fruit: mango and starfruit most prominent. Some pale malt biscuit and caramel malt. A hint of citrus juice and peel just beyond reach.

Very easy drinking, especially for a DIPA. Has just a hint of syrupy body, but just a tiny bit. Alcohol is noticeable only effervescently on the tongue. Light-medium and sticky body, with a medium-long finish.

This is a very tasty, hop-forward and drinkable DIPA (as expected from Beer'd). However, I don't like the yeast-dominant aspect of the flavor profile, with bubblegum that is both prominent and sustaining. It melds with the fruit, but is just enough to stand out.
