Absolutely beautiful dark orange pour that's well carbonated with a lot of head. Nice and rich aroma that's warming and a little fruity. Strong flavor that starts and finishes boozy with layers of well-balanced hops in between. A very thick and still smooth feel on this excellent beer overall, if you're feelin' 11%

Poured translucent, like unfiltered honey in color. The ivory colored head was aggressive and I had to pour in stages.
The aroma was piney and citrus and a bitter smell I couldn’t define. Good but perplexing.
The taste rather follows, citrus leads by just a little then the piney bitter rolls in. Like an east meets west ipa sort of thing.
The feel is good, very appropriate for the style.
OA, glad I got to try this, I’m still thinking about it and what it is trying to be, but enjoying the journey.

Appearance: Pours a relatively clear, copper-toned body with an inch of near white foam. A few teensy blips of lacing. Later pours which finish off the can will pull in some haziness.
Smell: Honey-glazed barley grains, a bit of a toasty element to it. Aromatic notes of citrusy, resiny oils and potent stonefruit-flavored hooch.
Taste: A sweetened blend of honey and blonde caramel atop a thin crust of baked bread and toasted grains. Rippling alcohol quickly takes effect with hoppy tastes of peach/apricot, pine resin, oily grapefruit and bitter orange peelings. Medium-plus bitterness. The finish houses a particularly warming alcohol presence, a rather large sip while reveal this along with an emboldened pop of bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Decent enough for being a rather big beer (even for a DIPA).

A little too much alcohol on the taste for me.

Appearance - Hazy yellow. Ideal carbonation. Poured from 32oz growler with thick head, dissolved to thin ring.
Smell - Crisp, citrus, pine, clean, a bit dank.
Taste - Very little maltiness, yet still thick, lingers on the palate. Strong alcohol. Taste is different from smell, much less citrus and pine. Average bitterness for a DIPA, not overpowering.
Mouthfeel - Heavy and thick.
Overall - Very interesting, very tasty.
