Purchased a howler on 1/17/15. Color is light golden, has a fruity smell with hints of lemon and orange. Taste has definite lemon flavor, hints of grapefruit, and has a dry finish. Really enjoying this beer, and looking forward to future offerings from Beer'd.

Howler purchased on 1/17/15 and served in a tulip. Pours a translucent golden-orange with a frothy, quarter inch bright white head. Nose expresses some citrus notes, a light candied quality and a hint of resin. Taste reveals citrus, and an earthy/resinous character. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body (but closer to medium) with an assertive carbonation that is just shy of being prickly and a slightly oily texture. Overall, decent but not my favorite DIPA from Beer'D - I love their fruity stuff. ABV on this beer is deceptively well-hidden.

32oz growler from Beer'd. Pours a translucent pale golden color with over an inch of frothy head. Citrus hop aroma with some lemon, lime, orange peel and sweet grapefruit. The taste is lemon and grapefruit with some orange peel. Very noticeable alcohol presence, which is expected. More lime, grapefruit and orange peel at the finish. Tart. Very dry mouthfeel. Overall, a boozey and lemony Imperial IPA worth getting again.
