Beautiful golden orange color with a lovely mango scent. Tasty, dry and malty mango flavor up front, but certainly has an aftertaste and lingering feel from the 9.6%. Not my favorite DIPA, but not bad.

Clear apricot colored with a low white head that settles out quickly. Aroma of honey malt and tangerine. Flavors match the nose, honey malt sweetness accompanied by a mild citrus hoppiness. Low bitterness. Moderate mouthfeel. A cloying sweetness lingers. Good beer but expected more character.

Had on tap at Walrus + Carpenter over the weekend. Poured into a tulip glass, slightly hazy amber color with a white head.
Overall I thought this was a pretty nice IPA, doughiness up front with big herbal hop notes all around, bit of citrus. It did have an odd medicinal taste at times, almost like some Belgian yeast phenolics/spices. Bitter and dry finish. Good IPA from Beer'd but not my favorite. Had it next to Gandhi bot and the Bot blew this one out of the water.
