Good head production and long legs; good lacing. Body is clear and light amber, but there's some noticeable yeast particulate (I have no problem with that).
Nose is overall light for a wild ale, with a little bit of earthy funk and very little sourness. Some barnyard notes, light citrus, straw. I don't specifically pick up pineapple.
The pineapple does come through on the palate, but fairly mild, and without any of the normal sweetness; it's more the stringy, fibrous pineapple note, and it blends with the base beer. Very lightly sour; low overall level of funkiness. Crisp and drinkable.
This is a pleasant beer, and a great quaff for Spring or Summer, but as a wild ale it's largely unimpressive - it makes for a better Saison, honestly. This isn't Beer'd's particular area of strength, granted, but given their overall pedigree, I certainly had higher hopes.
