Growler straight from the source. Pours a black color with over an inch of frothy tan head. Lots of lacing. Aromas of citrus hops, roasted malts, some pine, and hints of chocolate. The taste is citrus hops upfront followed by some chocolate. Roasted malt flavors near the end with a bitter piny finish. Roasty, chocolatey aftertaste. Lots of carbonation. Pretty drinkable, which is good because I believe its only available in growler form. Overall, a solid Black IPA worth having again.
