On tap at Moor Pat in Williamsville, NY.
This one pours a relatively light straw yellow, with a small head, and a lot of lacing.
Smells kinda grassy, with light grapefruit, and lots of caramel malt.
This is definitely a bit disappointing. The hop character doesn't appear to know what to do with itself. It's too light. The grassy character is nice, I can appreciate that, but it doesn't seem to commit to either being juicy or piney/dank, it's just somewhere in between, with a malt backbone that's too prominent.
This is light bodied, very crisp, and very drinkable- definitely a highlight here. I could see this being a solid choice for the summer, despite not being super interesting.
This is my first beer from these guys. It doesn't exactly keep me interested in trying more.
