I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery in Wilson, NY as part of a six sample flight. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base with subtle grain and candy corn presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Typical Marzen. Pours a darker orangish brown color with almost no head. Taste is nothing special, but has a nice light feeling in the mouth without an aftertaste. Extra points for great word play on the name.

Tastes nothing like a Marzen, even if it is a lager. One friend spit it out.
