L- Quite dark gold and pretty hazy. Pours with huge pillowy off-white head that gradually subsides leaving fat arms of lacing down the side of the glass. The sediment is notably course, several small pieces of barley or elder-flower on top of the foam catch my eye.
S- Richly floral, perfumed.
T- Dry, notably hoppy-bitter.
M- It seems to have very low carbonation in the mouth, in contrast to the copious amounts seen on opening/pouring.
O- I think this might suit me better in high-summer than deep-winter. In summer the dry/refreshing aspects would be welcome. It is notably hops-forward which seems in tune with some contemporary tastes.
BB Sep-2019, £2.79/330ml can from Planet Organic London W2
Open the can with care. Mine had been stored in a cool place for a week+ despite which it overflowed on opening. The same also happened with a Stroud Brewery bottle of lager consumed this week.

From a 330ml can.
L: Pale yellow/gold, clear, with minimal carbonation and a thin, white head.
S: Lots of fruit from both the hops and the elderflowers. Extremely fragrant and inviting.
T: Citrus & elderflower. Bitter finish that is smooth and elegant. No sharp edges.
F: Medium body, low carbonation, velvety mouthfeel.
O: Big surprise. I was concerned the addition of elderflowers would make this beer just a bit too prissy. However, the resulting brew is a rich, fruity, pale ale. The cascade and nelson sauvin hops work very well with the elderflower to produce a fruity but not over-sweet, smooth, eminently refreshing beer. Obvious summertime beer that will work well in the Spring and Autumn as well.
