Hand-pulled pint in The Green Man: the club bar at Forest Green Rovers football ground. An hour before Grimsby Town beat them on 5 Mar 2013.
Sadly it was poured into a plastic 'glass-like' container.
An off-white head of foam sat on top of an amber/old gold body.
Aroma is both fruity and earthy with a mild biscuity undertone.
The taste was also on the fruity side with a semi-sweet caramel feel to the overall flavour: it had a short bitter finish and I would gladly have had another if I hadn't been driving.
My first beer from this brewery: hope it isn't the only one I get to try.

Poured from a 500ml bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a dark golden/light brown colour with a pretty decent long lasting off-white head.
Smells pretty nicely balanced.
Tastes very nice, goes down smoothly and is very well balanced, as the smell suggested. Malty with a slight hop bitterness on the finish.
Overall a nice bitter, I'd love to have this as a session beer, it goes down extremely well.
