Cask. Enjoyed at the Beer Summit Harvest Fest in Boston. Poured a hazy, dull yellow color. The aroma was very enticing. This beer wasn't a super malty, caramel-loaded beer with oak influence. It was closer to an Oaked Imperial Pale Ale. The oak was very noticeable in the nose. Good vanilla presence. There was also a bunch of citrusy hoppiness. The flavor was great, too. Oak, vanilla, citrus, sweet cream, pale malt. Rich finish. Full bodied. Creamy and smooth via cask. Very soft bubbles. I really enjoyed this one.
