Pours a lightly hazy gold/orange, about 2 fingers of rocky white head that doesn’t quit
Aromas of orange zest and pulp, mild lacto funk, lemon juice, a bit of salinity, no hops in the aroma for a self described “hoppy sour ale”
The taste is where the hops shine here, but in a nice subtle way. The sip starts off with the citrusy, clean lacto sourness as the nose suggests, eventually moving to the drying and very slightly bitter hops, and a small note of spice
Medium-light bodied and slick, this brew is pretty well carbonated, refreshing
Overall I wasn’t nearly impressed with this base beer as I was with the mango variant, which was one of the first beers I really fell in love with, and still unashamedly one of my top rated on BA. Nonetheless, I have a ton of respect for Foolproof, and this is still pretty good!!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
