Foolproof is always a local solid option, and they’ve been hyping this one up for a while now and I just had to try it
Pours very dark brown, nearly pitch black, witj a finger of tan head that quickly fades to a cap and leaves no lacing
The nose is full of peanuts, very roasty. Almost like peanut butter powder. The blackberries add a mild, jammy sweetness
On the front of the sip, I’m picking up mild berry with a roasty bitterness that is surprisingly refreshing. The berry only exists in the front end of the sip, with the nutty roast and bitterness carrying all the way through with quite a hefty malt character
For a porter, this is quite full and only a bit watery. This has a medium/full body with moderate carbonation and finishes mostly dry and quite smooth
This was an interesting experiment, and the 2nd beer I’ve had from these guys today that was kinda out there. This was a lot better than the pickle gose though. I could see myself drinking more of this

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
