On tap at the Alberta location. A winter IPA, 6.5%ABV, 75 IBUs.
A clear amber with a dense, off-white head with good retention and lacing, this looks solid. The nose is a blend of bright and moderately pungent pine, some grapefruit peel and zest. A mild doughy and caramel malt character is present as well. The palate opens clean, mildly bitter and moderately hoppy with pine and grapefruit along with a blend of some caramel, dough and honey. Despite the sweeter flavors, the beer finishes drying and bitter, clean but just a shade flabby and moderately overcarbonated, causing it to foam up in your mouth. Decent.
