a fine wit, although a little overly belgian in that warm fermented yeasty fruity way, its overpowering the more delicate lemongrass notes that are beneath it. the malt base is super light, i dont really taste the wheat the way its usually there in these beers, but its light nature is awesome for summer, and with the effervescent carbonation, its a real refreshing brew. i just dont love the bubblegummy nature of the yeast in here, perfumy a little too like fake pear flavor or something, its a distraction but it isnt bad necessarily, just not as well balanced and multidimensional as it could be. this was one of my least favorite beers here, not that it isnt well made, just that is lacks the creativity of the others i had while i was there. more of a belgian golden than a wit as i understand them.
