Golden-hued pale ale, casked and dry-hopped with Nelson Sauvin hops.
Look: classic APA, with the "creamy" appearance casking adds.
Smell: wave after wave of fruity hop aroma - tangerine and grapefruit are predominant.
Taste: the signature Nelson Sauvin bite, the casking smooths it out a bit, but the flavor stays on the tongue longer, if that makes any sense. Really exceptional.
Feel: nicely carbonated and creamy.
Overall: Chocolate Milk Stout is the flagship, Peanut Butter Porter is the "keep an eye on the website and see if it's available" brew, and this casked beauty is why a random trip from Mankato to this slightly under-the-radar brewery in Nordeast is worthwhile. I couldn't pick a favorite from the 3 beverages I sampled last night. Well done by DMB.
