Pours a darker ruby red body, one finger white head, good retention, no lacing. Smell is mildly tart blackberry fruit, citrus and light resin, grapefruit and a touch of caramel. Flavour follows; slight caramel, mild blackberry tartness, a bit dry, light dry resin superimposed on that with a fair grapefruit bite, light toffee, a bit of mineral. Mouthfeel is medium lighter bodied, good carbonation, smooth and creamy mouthfeel with a slight tart blackberry bite. Solid and interesting IPA; not too bitter, nice minimal dry tartness from the blackberry without actual acidity to it.
