L: brilliant amber gold permeated by streams of rapidly rising bubbles under a 2" white cap with fair to good retention
S: smells of bread crumb, rich malt, citrus, floral, faint fruit, light spice
T: Big rich malt bread crumb flavors lead with a trace of bread crust, joined mid palate by an assertive bitter accent, mild alcohol and crisp citrus flavors
F: The body is just under medium full and the carbonation is medium low
O: It is easy to drink a lot of this big bold Pilsner

Imperial Pilsner. Poured into 10oz snifter at the taproom. This has the taste of a real old-school pilsner Delicious, aromatic grains balanced well with hops. The ABV is well hidden, making this a fine craft example of the style (despite elevated ABV). This is a real winner.
