This isn’t a gruit, obviously, but BA doesn’t have an option for Lithuanian Farmhouse Ales, so...idk, and though I have been to Lithuania (about 20 years ago) i didn’t try any legit beers there, so i’m Not rating to style. Ar any rate, this is very enjoyable. In a tulip at the tap room. Pours a reddish amber and is pretty clear, with minimal head and lacing. Nose is lots of earthy yeast with some pepper, and a little fleshy and not too sweet stone fruit. Taste follows...nice balance between fruit and spice, without either dominating....very warm and cozy feel, but fairly lively mouthful, tastes very fresh and moderately chewy, drying out at the end. Lots of yeast, and that is a good thing, here.
