Single Malt and Single Hop - in this case Munich Malt and Mandarina Bavarian hops. Although listed as a Pale Ale, this is a fine example of a German Marzen (but ale). Delicious. All I can say is that I tasted many of the world's "top" Marzens/Octoberfest beers this year and must say this one topped them. Fabulous biscuit and caramel flavors in a balanced beer. Everything works on an autumn day. Creamy mouthfeel. Hated to finish it...so I bought a howler to go.
